Solar Flare warning

Two sunspots erupted into a Class X1 solar flare aimed right at the earth at about 9:30 PM last 
night.  The CME is expected to hit the earth in the early hours of Monday, March 25.
 
Long wire and HF antennas without good surge protection should be disconnected and/or
grounded by 10 PM tonight, and remain disconnected/grounded well into the day tomorrow to 
avoid equipment damage.  
 
Geomagnetic storms that may disrupt HF communications are expected through Monday.
 
Auroras may be visible at our latitude after midnight tonight.
